Universities have a key role to play in digitalization and sustainability. Along with their function as innovation incubators and places where students learn about sustainable and digital development, they also act as role models.
A new English lecture series will now explore how the Technical University of Munich (TUM) can promote sustainable digitalization and digital sustainability, conduct relevant research, and put the results into practice.
The topic of the first public lecture, on April 19, 2021, is “Sustainability and higher education: How does this go together?”. The guests will be Lara Lütke-Spatz, the managing director of the University & Sustainability Network Bavaria and Miranda Schreurs, a Professor of Environment and Climate Policy at TUM.
