Smart Factories Winter School. Save the date and visit

RWTH Aachen University is conducting a winter school course called “Smart Factories”.  It is connected to German government initiative Industry 4.0, advertising integration of innovative manufacturing technologies into production process. 

Smart Factories Winter School will deliver basics and fundamentals of Industry 4.0 technologies, will bring better understanding of current and future requirements of production technologies.

Some of the topics that will be covered are:

  • Smart Factories;
  • Robotics;
  • Digital supply chain;
  • Networked production systems;
  • Human-machine interaction;
  • Innovative technologies for manufacturing.

At the end of the winter school students will have a final exam/presentation. After successful completion they will receive Executive Certificate from RWTH Aachen University. Student as well will receive  a certificate of participation together will certificate of supplement from RWTH Aachen University.

This two week programme will bring you 2 ECTS credits.

Winter School will last for two weeks in February 2020, will cover 60 teaching units. In order to be admitted, students should be at least 18 years old, ideally B.Sc/B.E. students. Classes will be conducted in English.

After completion of Winter or Summer School you can see your opportunities to continue education at RWTH Aachen University.

Application to Winter School Smart Factories will be opened on November 1 2019, with the deadline December 1 2019.
