NMITE announces the formation of a new academic advisory board, with a trio of leading international scholars as members. The academic advisory board joins together academic experts with national and international profile, and a deep commitment for NMITE’s values.
This group of distinguished academic experts have a demonstrable affinity with NMITE’s mission who together bring a wealth of expertise across engineering, innovation, and global education policy, strengthening NMITEs mission to redefine higher education for the 21st Century. The group provides advice, guidance and stimulus to NMITE’s Board and its academic team, helping to ensure that the institution always delivers on its mission to deliver a new model of higher education.

Professor Sir Keith Burnett DPhil FRS
Professor Sir Keith Burnett FRS is an internationally renowned physicist and educator, Chair of the Nuffield Foundation, President of the Institute of Physics and former Vice Chancellor of Sheffield University. He also served as the Head of Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Oxford. Sir Keith is a longstanding champion of vocational education and research with industry.
Professor Robert Klitgaard MPP PhD
Professor Robert Klitgaard is University Professor and a former President of Claremont Graduate University in California, and Dean of the RAND Graduate School. He has held professorial positions at Yale and Harvard universities and is the author of numerous acclaimed books on economics and public policy.
Professor Paul Newman PhD CBE, FREng
Professor Paul Newman is Professor of Information Engineering at Oxford, and Co-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of OXA, a leading developer of software systems for autonomous vehicles.
