New AI platform at automatica

The Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MSRM) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is exploring new directions with automatica, the leading international trade show for automation and robotics. At the 2020 edition of automatica, from December 8–11 2020, the MSRM will present a unique platform, entitled munich-i, to promote the exchange of ideas on artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics. The goal is to bring together the world’s leading experts and responsibly drive the development of these technologies.

How can AI-assisted work be made safer and more productive? How can we use robotics and AI today to meet current and future challenges in the areas of healthcare and mobility? And how might a responsible use of these new technologies look?Munich-i, a new AI platform jointly developed by MSRM and Messe München, aims to answer these questions. For the automatica trade show, which will take place at Messe München in December 2020, MSRM has planned a wide-ranging program under the heading “intelligence empowering tomorrow”. The honorary patron will be the Bavarian minister president Dr. Markus Söder.

High-tech summit: Innovations by the international AI elite

At the high-tech summit on the first day of the trade show (December 8), it will be all about cooperation and the interaction between human and artificial intelligence. Pioneers and visionaries from the industry will present their latest innovations, designed to contribute to the responsible technological transformation of society. The summit is aimed at corporate leaders and those responsible for production, research and development, technology and digital transformation.
