DigiKey’s 2025 Back to School Prize Giveaway is open and ready for entries. The giveaway gives university students the opportunity to see out the year with a bag fully stocked with goodies, providing them with practical, technical tools and exclusive merchandise.
This year, five entrants will be randomly selected to win a prize package that includes: an Aven Tools LED lamp, a Pokit Innovations all-in-one digital tool, a Weidmüller wire stripper, an Adafruit Ladyada’s electronics toolkit, as well as a selection of DigiKey merchandise. In addition, one grand prize winner will also receive a Teledyne LeCroy power supply unit, providing extra support for experiments, prototypes, or coursework.

The sweepstakes is open to students worldwide who hold a university email address, and entries can be submitted in local languages. The entry period runs from 26th August to 24th October 2025, with winners announced around 15th November 2025. To take part, students can register via DigiKey’s website.
This giveaway not only provides students with useful equipment, but it also aims to be an encouragement for students undertaking projects such as Senior Design or Capstone work. By making professional-grade tools more accessible, the competition supports the next generation of engineers in transforming ideas into practical solutions.
