Become a Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice at GE Power

As an apprentice at Power Conversion, you will join an Advanced Apprenticeship Programme in GE Power’s manufacturing and engineering department.

GE Power Conversion is at the forefront of the engineering sector within the UK’s Green economy. Apprentices follow a four-year training scheme, the first of which is spent at a college. During this year candidates can expect to gain a thorough grounding in the key areas required for a career in modern engineering.

In the following three years you will work in various manufacturing and engineering disciplines within both the manufacturing and engineering departments while the company works together to tailor the ideal career path for you .

You will work closely with experienced mentors and be part of team and be working on real systems.

Successful candidates will be expected to have a minimum of a grade 5 or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technology based subject.
