Google.org has recently launched a call to organisations to share their ideas on how to use AI to help resolving social and environmental challenges. Organisers have already received applications from 119 countries around six continents. Twenty organisations have been selected to be offered support for their ideas.
These selected 20 organisations will receive training from Google AI experts, Google.org funding from $25m pool, and other privileges from Google Cloud. They will be offered to join Google Developers launchpad Accelerator program lasting six months.
Google.org selected companies from a broad range from those with technical experience and to those whose ides will be a significant use.
The selected projects are:

- La Fondation Medecins Sans Frontieres (France);
- Talking Points (USA);
- The Pennsylvania University (USA);
- Gringgo Indonesia Foundation (Indonesia);
- Makerere University (Uganda);
- Skillab BV (Netherlands);
- The Trevor Project (USA);
- Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Senora del Rosario (Colombia);
- Wadhwani AI (India);
- WattTime Corporation (USA).
